Friday, August 16th: Sunset Cruise Around Manhattan Followed By Bowling and Food
Join us for a Harbor Lights cruise on the Hudson and East rivers. We will be taking a sunset cruise with Circle Line Cruises that leaves at 7pm and goes around the lower half of Manhattan and passes close to the Statue of Liberty. There is food and a bar available on the boat.
You can buy your ticket vouchers for the cruise at the Circle Line website. However, the ticket vouchers don't guarantee a spot on the boat. Please be at Pier 83 W. 42nd Street & 12th Avenue at 6:15pm to exchange your vouchers for a ticket. The cruise is very popular in the summer so you need to be there early to guarantee a spot on the boat.
​After the cruise we'll walk along the river to 300 Bowling at Chelsea Piers for some bowling and dinner. We have booked 5 lanes and bowling shoes for 30 people. So, between 9pm and 11pm, you bowl as much as you want. Some food will also be provided, like pigs in a blanket, hummus, pot stickers, and more!
Please keep in mind that if it's raining on that day, we will not be taking the cruise but we will still go bowling. So, we would advise you to wait until that week before you buy your cruise ticket vouchers.
Saturday, August 17th, 11am-2pm: Bagels and Smorgasburg Lunch
On Saturday, any time between 11am to 2pm, join us for lunch on the waterfront. We've reserved our building's lounge, which has spectacular views of Manhattan. We will have bagels, spreads, and drinks, so stop by for lunch. If you want something other than bagels, you can first stop by Smorgasburg, the amazing open air food market three blocks from us, grab some food, and bring it back to our building to eat with us.
Smorgasburg is a food market with more than 75 different food vendors. It's in the East River State Park, on Kent Avenue and North 8th street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn (see map on the right). You can take the East River Ferry there or you can take the L line on the subway to the Bedford Ave. stop and walk towards the water.
Our building is at 2 Northside Piers, Brooklyn, NY 11249. It's between North 4th and North 5th Streets right on the water. Just tell the doorman you are there for our party and then come to the 2nd floor lounge.
